Champagne Laurent-Perrier 'Héritage' Brut
Description
Founded in 1812 in Tours-sur-Marne, family-owned Champagne house Laurent-Perrier are enowned for their innovation alongside traditional winemaking values, holding a prestigious Royal Warrant since 1998. The Héritage Brut is an exceptional result of their dedication and passion. It's a special edition cuvée that stands as the very first Brut Champagne made using entirely reserve wines. Composed of 55% Chardonnay (double the usual proportion grown in Champagne) and 45% Pinot Noir, the grapes are sourced from 40 select crus. By blending complementary reserve wines from exceptional vintages and ageing them for a minimum of four years on lees, it achieves great purity and perfect maturity.
A white gold colour with a fine and persistent effervescence. A nose offering notes of lemon, white peach and fruits in syrup followed by aromas of toasted bread and toasted almonds. Fresh at first which gives way to a lively, elegant and complex palate with aromas of white fruits and citrus zest. Héritage offers a perfect balance between freshness, elegance and maturity with notes of floral honey.
