Isle of Jura Seven Wood is a complex, smooth, and deeply refined Island single malt Scotch whisky from Scotland's Isle of Jura that beautifully captures the maritime elegance of its island origin by blending spirit aged in American White Oak ex-Bourbon barrels with six distinct French oak cask finishes. On the nose, this characteristic Island whisky shows a captivating bouquet of bright ginger spice, sweet vanilla pod, and creamy milk chocolate, seamlessly layered with notes of fresh peach, orange marmalade, aromatic coffee grounds, light oak smoke, and dark honey. The palate is medium-bodied, velvety, and beautifully texturised, offering a rich mouth-coating feel with flavours of caramelised sugar, dark plums, and candied citrus supported by warm cinnamon, baked apple tart, toasted hazelnuts, complex wood spice, dried apricot, and liquorice that keep its layered depth energetic and focused. The finish is long, smooth, and clean, lingering on notes of warming oak tannins, sweet tobacco, and sea-spray minerality.
