Finca El Origen Malbec Reserva is a high-altitude, estate-grown Argentinian red wine from the Uco Valley that beautifully combines the deeply concentrated, muscular power of mountain-grown fruit with a refined, plush complexity of barrel aging. On the nose, this characteristic Malbec shows an intense bouquet of blackberry, dark plum, and concentrated cassis, seamlessly layered with notes of dried violets, vanilla bean, dark chocolate, fresh mint, and sweet tobacco. The palate is full-bodied, dense, and velvety, offering lush flavours of black cherry liqueur, bramble fruit, baked figs, mocha, and warm baking spice, supported by powerful, fine-grained tannins and a bright, high-altitude acidity that keeps its richness structural and focused. The finish is long, dry, and luxurious, lingering on notes of dark berry skins, toasted cedar, and a clean mineral earthiness, making it a perfect pairing for grilled ribeye steak, roasted lamb chops, rich beef empanadas, or aged hard cheeses.
