Fonseca Porto Bin 27 Port is a rich, smooth, and beautifully blended Reserve Port from Portugal's Douro Valley that beautifully captures the vibrant character of its origin by combining intense fruit purity with a smooth, highly approachable elegance. On the nose, this characteristic Port shows an intense, fruity bouquet of pure blackberry, cassis, ripe cherry, and plum, seamlessly layered with subtle notes of spice and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied, round, and velvety, offering a smooth viscosity with lush flavours of juicy blackcurrant and dark orchard fruits supported by firm, mouth-filling tannins that lend structure and depth. The finish is rich, sweet, and wonderfully persistent, lingering on notes of opulent black fruit skins and warming spice, making it a perfect pairing for dark chocolate desserts, berry fruit tarts, or rich, creamy cheeses like farmhouse Cheddar and Stilton.
