Tamdhu Batch Strength is a bold, deeply rewarding Speyside single malt Scotch whisky matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks that beautifully captures the rich heritage of its region by blending a powerful warmth with a multi-layered, sherry-forward style. On the nose, this characteristic Speyside single malt shows an expressive bouquet of sherry-stained oak and manuka honey, seamlessly layered with subtle notes of red berries, cinnamon, nutmeg, and creamy vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, oily, and beautifully intense, offering a luxurious texture with lush flavours of candied citrus peel, toffee apples, and rich fruitcake supported by notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and a robust oak spice that keeps its natural sweetness focused. The finish is long, zesty, and highly warming, lingering on notes of dried figs, spiced orange tea, and cocoa, making it a perfect pairing for dark chocolate truffles, aged Comte cheese, or roasted duck with an orange glaze.
