Tenuta di Sesta Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is an aristocratic, 100% Sangiovese Grosso Tuscan red wine from the warm, southern slopes of Montalcino that beautifully balances powerful fruit concentration with complex, traditional oak-aged character: on the nose it shows intense dark cherry, wild blackberry, and ripe red plum layered with crushed dried roses, pipe tobacco, new leather, and a sophisticated hint of exotic baking spice and balsamic herbs; the palate is full-bodied, multi-layered, and deeply structural, with flavours of black cherry pastilles, juicy pomegranate, and dark forest berries supported by notes of savoury mocha, graphite, cedarwood, and licorice, sometimes edging into riper hints of black raspberry liqueur, while tightly woven, chalky tannins and a classic, mouth-watering acidity keep it remarkably long and focused; the finish is exceptionally persistent, dry, and elegant, lingering on dark berry skins, warm wood spices, and a clean, lingering mineral earthiness.
