Finca El Origen Malbec Reserva (14.5%) is a high-altitude, estate-grown Argentinian red wine from the Uco Valley that combines the deeply concentrated, muscular power of mountain-grown fruit with the refined, plush complexity of barrel aging: on the nose it shows intense blackberry, dark plum, and concentrated cassis layered with dried violets, vanilla bean, dark chocolate, and a distinct hint of fresh mint and sweet tobacco; the palate is full-bodied, dense, and velvety, with flavours of black cherry liqueur, bramble fruit, and baked figs supported by notes of savoury mocha, graphite, and warm baking spice, sometimes edging into riper hints of blueberry compote, while powerful, fine-grained tannins and a bright, high-altitude acidity keep it structural and focused; the finish is long, dry, and luxurious, lingering on dark berry skins, toasted cedar, and a clean, mineral earthiness.
